Imagine, just imagine it for a while; you were busy at home. A thief stole in your apartment, there was no life lost and no property destroyed; only that it was taken away. As time and seasons unfolds itself, in few days, just few days, he, your said thief was caught. Your concern was how, why, who, when and the whats.
Your thief agreed to tell or say the truth and he did. You did listened to his story. You were moved by sympathy and empathy; and you granted him forgiveness and had him released afterwards. No charges against him whatsoever. And then behold; few weeks later, your young daughter fell ill; rushed to the near by medical facilities, the doctor confirmed she's pregnant! And circle continued again; Who, when, why, where and what happened!?
The Answer?
Your former forgiven 'The Thief'!
Now:
- Did he tell you the 'Truth' then?
- Was it the truth he told?
- Why did you forgive him?
- On what ground did you render the forgiveness?
- Who is to blame? And one last thing;
- Who determines what is 'Truth'?
While I give you time to ponder on these things, listen carefully; this is what the western 'Religion' has done to us Africa and Africans! This is what Religion and Religious Leaders has done and is doing to us and against our souls and destinies!
What an irony, the 'Church' had lost the 'Virginity' of her young child, and the great offender had been 'forgiven'! No charge; and yet the destiny of her young child is lost.
Wake up Church and think straight!
