A State Spelling Competition - Our Contextualized Support For Schools & Youth Development

Award of Distinction to The Best Three Schools within the state, with 
the 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd Best Positions at the Spelling Competition

The essence of the Spelling Bee Competition is to bring out the best in every Nigerian student and to rewarding the winners with amazing prizes and scholarships, and in addition also making the runners-up study harder.

Participants are asked to spell English words and sometimes selected words from Yoruba, Hausa and Igbo languages. The Competition is all about bringing the best out of students and showing the world our spelling prowess. The competition took place on March 5th, 2017 at Federal College of Education Gombe State capital. And the featured the following:

• Award of Excellence
• Recognition award
• Selection of the state finals
• Best Performing School awards towards National Competition.

To reduce the serious lack in terms of nutrition, vitamins (Supplements) were given to 50 different schools. To aid students performance and enhance student learning and assimilation.

In addition, 23 Schools to be deeply engaged in debate competition on various Subject matters relating to governance and socioeconomic co-existence. We also engaged the students in:

1. Sensitization workshops for personal development
2. Leadership and peaceful coexistence towards national development
3. Speaking of the future; Nigeria in Twenty Years to come.
4. Nigeria on My Mind; the role of the young people (Youth) towards national transformation.

AIM AND OBJECTIVES

We are raising future leaders with a sound academic and educational background. Condemning ignorance to the uttermost. Creating synergy and peaceful coexistence among the young generation. So help us God Almighty!
